It’s summer in New England, which means that the whenever the sun is shining, folks are heading to the coast. One great destination is Dartmouth, on the South Coast of Massachusetts. There’s lovely New England flavor, picturesque harbors and a rich tradition steeped in proximity to the sea. A new gallery has opened in the neighborhood in a beautiful 19th Century building – 6½ Bridge Street Gallery.
Jim’s work fits in perfectly there, with fish decorated vases mingling with woven work, jewelry, kinetic mobiles and paintings. It has a beautiful sense of place, and I hope that you’ll stop in this summer to check it out! We had a chance to stop by on a sunny day and see the art and relax on the patio at the neighboring cafe – it’s a truly lovely destination.
You can see a walk through of the gallery featuring Jim’s work here on Vine.
Have a fabulous summer, eat lots of ice cream, and fill your life with beautiful things!
